Filipino singer Bugoy Drilon proudly shared on Facebook that he has finally fulfilled the greatest promise he made to his mother—giving her a home she truly deserves.

The 35-year-old artist revealed that before joining ABS-CBN’s singing competition Pinoy Dream Academy, he vowed to provide his mother with a house if he won. While it took longer than expected, Drilon said it was worth the wait.

“Bago ako sumali sa Pinoy Dream Academy, nangako ako kay Mama na kapag nanalo ako, ibibigay ko sa kanya ang bahay na deserve niya. Hindi man agad natupad, inabot ng 17 taon bago ko tuluyang naipon at naibigay ito sa kanila,” he wrote in his post.

Drilon’s heartfelt update has since gone viral, garnering over 630 shares and 5,000 comments from netizens congratulating him for keeping his word. Many praised him for being a devoted son and recalled supporting him during his Pinoy Dream Academy journey.

As for those wondering about his current projects, Drilon confirmed through a fan interaction that he is focused on working on his new album.
